Identity Criterion for Body of Water type

Features for establishing identity relationships

  • name_match: There is a name_match if the names or aliases of the water bodies match on both the sources.

  • bridges_match: There is a bridges_match if at least one of the water body bridges listed in Freebase property /geography/body_of_water/bridges (Bridges) matches with the bridges on the other source.

  • islands_match: There is an islands_match if at least one of the water body islands listed in Freebase property /geography/body_of_water/islands (Islands) matches with the islands on the other source.

General guidelines for identity between two Bodies of Water

Here are some typical patterns for determining identity of bodies of water:

  1. name_match and bridges_match. (Example 1)
  2. name_match and islands_match. (Example 2)
