Current definition : Includes all non-sports games including board games, parlor games and card games.
Proposed definition: A game is a rule-based activity done for amusement or other reasons, directed toward reaching a known goal. Games can be competitive or non-competitive and may involve chance or the use of mental and/or physical skill.
This type excludes sports which are competitive activities that involve some form of physical prowess and also video games, which encompasses all computerized games, incorporating platforms from computer to console, game arcade to mobile device. At the present time, both have their own separate type.
