Identity Criterion for Comedy Group type

Features for establishing identity relationships

  • name_match: There is a name_match if the names of the comedy groups on both the sources are same or match approximately.

  • member_match: There is a member_match if one or more of the members listed in Freebase property /comedy/comedy_group/members (Members) matches with the members listed on the other source.

  • awards_match: There is an awards_match if at least one of the nominations or awards (with country/association, category and year info) received by the group listed in Freebase topic match with the awards on the other source.

General guidelines for establishing identity between two Comedy Groups

Here are some typical patterns for determining identity of two comedy groups:

  1. name_match and member_match. (Example 1)
  2. name_match and awards_match. (Example 2)

Pattern 1 Example 1: Here the names of the groups match. Also some of the member names match on both sources. Hence the comedy groups are identical.





Pattern 2 Example 2: Here the names of the comedy groups and awards and nominations received by them match on both the sources. Hence the comedy groups are identical.
