##Identity Criterion for Issuer

Features for establishing identity relationships

  • name_match: There is a name_match if the issuer name matches on both the sources or are closely match. Frequently issuers may use abbreviations such as GE for General Electric.

  • issue_match: There is an issue_match if at least one of the company’s issues listed in Freebase property /business/issuer/issue (Issue) matches with the issues on the other source.

General guidelines for establishing identity between two issuers

Here are some typical patterns for determining identity of two issuers:
