The process for getting fingerprinted to supervise our team meetings is as follows:

1. Email Wyn Schuh <[email protected]> to let her know you want to become a fingerprinted volunteer and then submit the application in step (3).
2. Here is an overview of the process and documentation needed for the application
3. Submit the application online: MVLA Volunteer application

4. Make an appointment to be fingerprinted at the MVLA Adult School, 333 Moffett Blvd, Mountain View, CA 94043
   Phone: 650-940-1333, option 1 for front office (View Google Map)
   - Regular hours for fingerprinting appointments are Monday-Friday,
      10am-3:15 pm (in 15 min slots) at this location.
   - Take your livescan form and picture ID to your appointment;

After you have been fingerprinted, you will be notified when your fingerprints are cleared so that you can supervise the robotics meetings.

This process takes a little time so please start as soon as possible.  It could take 1-2 days to get an appointment to be fingerprinted and anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks for the fingerprints to be processed.

The fingerprints are only used to validate your volunteer information and are not kept on file anywhere.  Also, you do not need to be fingerprinted again if you volunteer next year, too.
