Integrating Joule with SAP Systems

Overview

This guide shows you how to connect Joule, the AI assistant, to your SAP SuccessFactors system.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have completed these setup steps first:

  • Completed the general Joule prerequisites
  • Connected SAP SuccessFactors to the Identity Authentication service (IAS) for user login
  • Created an instance of SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition

How to Connect Joule to SuccessFactors

Follow these steps to complete the integration:

  1. Register Your System: Add your SAP SuccessFactors system to your BTP global account.
  2. Run the Joule Booster: Use the automated setup tool and select SAP SuccessFactors as one of your integration options.
  3. Set Up the Work Zone: Create the SAP Build Work Zone application and instance.
  4. Add SuccessFactors Content: Configure the work zone to display content from your SuccessFactors system.
  5. Configure User Access: Set up the Identity Provisioning Service to manage user identities.
