Integrating Joule into Applications Using Custom Domains

Overview

This step lets your company's custom applications securely connect with Joule. You do this to allow Joule to access and analyze data from your internal business systems.

Before you start

You need: Subaccount administrator role

Steps

  1. Go to your subaccount → "Security Settings"
  2. Click "+ (Add)"
  3. Enter your application's domain (example: "https://store.example.com")
  4. Click "Save"

Important notes

  • Character limit: All trusted domains combined cannot exceed 2048 characters
  • Port numbers: Include them if needed (example: "https://axyz01.sap.test.cust:44380")
  • Activation time: Changes take about 2 hours to take effect
