QUICK GUIDE

1. Access to your Instagram personal account.

2. Select the three line icon in the top right corner > Settings > Security > Data Download > Request Download. In the "Information format" section select JSON. Other way is paste the following link: https://www.instagram.com/download/request in a new navigator tab.

3. Enter your email address, where Instagram will send you the download link with your details. In the "Information format" section, select the JSON option and click on the "Next " button. A new window will appear asking for your account password, enter your password and click on the "Request download " button. Instagram will send you an email with your details after a few minutes (Is not an instant process).

4. Refresh and review your email inbox. If you don't see any email, please check your "spam" folder. Press "Download information" button. The data will be downloaded in .ZIP format. If you do not have a programm to decompress this type of file, a free option is 7zip which you can download here.

5. Next, you will look for the files needed for the application. In Windows OS, open the File Explorer and then go to the folder where files were downloaded (The .ZIP file). Afterwards, search the followers_and_following directory and select the files mentioned above.
