Devices
DigiView for Android uses libusb functions that are found in Android 7 and above. In general, most modern Android 7+ devices should be compatible, so long as USB OTG is supported on the device.
The specific hardware of a device, however, may greatly impact the performance of the app. You can find a list of tested devices here: Supported Devices
This list is not exhaustive and currently relies on user feedback. If you have used DigiView on your phone and your device is not listed, please submit your results here.
Cables
All DigiView apps use a USB connection between the goggles and whatever device you are viewing it on. For the Android app, the recommended cables are:
- A USB-C to USB-A cable (the DJI goggles use the USB-C side of this cable)
- An OTG adapter that is USB-A to whichever USB your device uses (usually micro-USB or USB-C)
PLEASE NOTE: Some USB-C to USB-C cables, without an OTG adapter, may work, but many do not. To guarantee a proper connection, it is highly recommended to use an OTG adapter of some kind.
