Challenges:

Placement deemed to be of most use at the point of consumer decision making, but what defines this?
- Marketing materials
- Order forms
- Location / Contact details
- Homepage / Landing pages
- Social media
- Aggregator listings
Business capability to follow implementation guidelines
Changes to websites 'breaking' badge placement
Website which are dated and cannot insert custom code at the right point for consumer decision making
Websites which have separate desktop / mobile versions and not responsive, means placement could differ on different versions
Businesses complying with placement enforcement
Businesses who do not rely on a point of conversion for consumers, but still need to display; may be confused as to where to place their ratings (eg. manufacturers / farmers / producers)

Recommendations:

Create scalable assets
Create a set of guidelines which shows the greatest awareness of differing platforms and ideal placement
At very least, show the rating in the footer or with contact details of each unique business or location (eg virtual brands using the same kitchen so location is rated, not business)
Allow businesses to choose the right asset for their business type and platforms
