Zotero testing

This is an example DRAFT workflow. It will enable us to have a deinative list, with good metadata, etc. The bibliography can then be used in lots of ways.

  • Zotero group https://www.zotero.org/groups/4592513/force11 - invite omnly to edit
  • Add items via browser plugin or by adding via DOI on Desktop version, DOI is better as you get the full data
  • Sometime real titles will be different that working titles we might have had on webwsite, you can edit on Zotero
  • To get items into a web page you need to do the following (note there are lots of ways to do this, probably making our own CSL will be best)
    • Use desktop Zotero
    • Have a page read to edit on the website
    • Select all items and right click and select, Export items, choose Bookmarks and copy to clipboard
    • on the website, insert a block - Advanced List, paste your clipboard and adjust style right hand column for the block
    • Note you can preview your work before saving
  • As you will see in the example a Atom RSS feed has been added at the bottom from Zotero - its likely with some texting we could just generate the list from such an feed from the Zotero API

Here is a test example, you can do what you like on this dev site.
