To provide appropriate creator & rights info about an image or other type of media file, fill in the following for that file in the Media area.
For example, if showing an image of a book cover:
- creator = [Author, Illustrator, &/or Designer of the book cover]
- copyright = (c) [Copyright holder - likely the author or publisher]
- description = "Book cover for [title]"
e.g. -- For the Cow that Went Oink:
- creator = Bernard Most
- copyright = (c) Bernard Most
- description = "Book cover for The Cow that Went Oink"
For Dato pages that need to display books covers, whoever is requesting/writing the content should provide a book citation that can be included at the end of the body text.
If MLA/Chicago format (e.g. here) is do-able, let's stick with that -- otherwise / at minimum, including book-author, book-title, publisher, publication-year from worldcat.org covers most of it:
e.g. searching for The Cow that went Oink ~> https://search.worldcat.org/title/1000504380
& this citation: Most, Bernard. The Cow that Went Oink., by Most, Voyager Books/Harcourt, Inc. 2003. ISBN: 9780152047634
