WIKI TODO and Done List and How To Contribute - fermigas/ltvt GitHub Wiki
Moving the LTVT Wiki to github has required a lot of work. There's still lots to do. (NOTE: This thread is only about this LTVT WIKI, not the source code repo).
What's been done
- all of the source code and binaries have been uploaded here: LTVT Github site. If you're not a developer or not comfortable with github/git, links are provided to the old download pages at that link.
- all HTML files from the original 1.8 GB archive provided by Jom Mosher have been converted to markdown and are now in this WIKI.
- all the smaller images in the archive have been uploaded to this wiki
- all of the larger imagery can be found here: Lunar Orbiter Composites
- other collateral files have been uploaded (txt, csv, etc.) Almost all wiki links to them work.
What's left to do
-
clean up the remaining dead links
- internal links missed in the conversion
- internal links to collateral files missing from the archive
- external links to sites that have moved
- external links to dead sites
- The LPOD gallery of images (lpod.org/coppermine/) is gone even though www2.lpod.org is working.
-
clean up graphics and tables with graphics
- github markdown requires different syntax to show images with links
-
Table of Contents on many pages
- They got left out on some pages during the markdown conversion process
- github markdown doesn't like spaces in anchors (bitbucket doesn't even support them)
