1.1 Prject Overview

This project aims to demonstrate the ability to track a person in an outdoors area and display their location on a dashboard in real time. This project can be deployed in a lot of situations where a person or thing wants or needs to be tracked. A GPS module will be able to give an estimated position along with a static beacon network, which will be sent to a network and ran through a dead reckoning system on a PC application.

• Tracking a specific animal in a farm
• Tracking the movements of an important person
• Find and display the locations of machinery in large industrial worksites
