Using your cloud account

Your free cloud account can store your dials and optionally also your thumbnails (images).
Having your data in the cloud means they are safely and privately backed up outside your PC.


  1. make sure you are logged in your account:
    https://group-speed-dial.fastaddons.com/login

  2. enable Thumbnails synchronization (optional step) in the Options page / Thumbnails:

  3. install Group Speed Dial to your new device/browser:

  4. after the installation, the Introduction Tutorial will open - here on the 3rd step "Import data from", click the "Login/Create account" button:

  5. after logging into your account, your dials and thumbnails will be automatically downloaded


Using manually exported backup file

  1. open "Import / backup" tab in the options page

  2. press the "Export all" button (browser may ask you for additional "Download files" permission).

  3. new backup file (with a name like backup_2025_06_16___09_59_42.group_speed_dial) will be created in your Downloads folder (or on your Desktop)

  4. move the exported file to your new device

  5. install Group Speed Dial to your new device/browser:

  6. after installation, import the exported backup file using the same "Import / backup" page:

    TIP: If you don't want to use the cloud account, make sure to backup your dials regularly, either manually, or by enabling automatic backups.
