Using Milovana's EOS Editor - fapnip/openeos GitHub Wiki

Accessing Milovana's Eos editor

To create your own teases that can be played by OpenEOS, you'll need to use the Eos editor at milovana.com. (If you need an account at Milovana, you can request one.)

The Eos editor is here: https://milovana.com/eos/editor

A tutorial to get you started with Eos is here: https://milovana.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=274834

Notes:

  • The tease preview in Milovana's Eos editor will not work for OpenEOS teases.

Adding OpenEOS Editor Extensions

Thanks to help from Milovana user "notSafeForDev", you can extend the functionality of Milovana's Eos editor via users scripts to help make using some of OpenEOS's features a little easier.

To install the OpenEOS Editor Extensions:

  1. You must use Chrome or Edge (Firefox may not work correctly.)
  2. Install the Violentmonkey Browser Extension
  3. Install the OpenEOS Editor Extensions user script

After installing the OpenEOS Editor Extensions user script, you will now be able to:

  • More easily link to animated GIFs from imgbb.com in an Image action, after first selecting a placeholder jpg file.
  • See preview of animated GIFs while editing Image actions with GIF links.
  • More easily link to videos from redgifs.com in an Audio action, after first selecting a placeholder mp3 file.
  • See preview of videos while editing Audio actions with Video links.
  • Get click coordinates from images for use with image click events. (Just click the image preview in the Eos editor.)
  • Easily get an OpenEOS player URL for your tease from the Share via link area in the EOS editor.
  • Easily open an OpenEOS Preview player tab for debugging from the Eos editor preview area.

Remember to check the user script for updates from time to time. To update, just install it again.
