What is a network?

A network uses blockchain networks to deploy nodes. The different network these nodes may be part of are; individual or private shared or public or a consortium network.

  • Private network: A private or permissioned or individual network requires permission to be able to access the network.

  • Public network: A public or permissionless or shared network is a network that anyone in the world can read, send transactions to and can be included in the transaction process if they are valid.

  • Consortium network: A consortium network is a network in which the transaction is managed by the preselected nodes.

You can access endpoints with JWT or API KEY. These nodes could be a Tesnet with:

  • Bootnode
  • RPC node
  • Regular Nodes
  • Block explorer
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana

Depending on the type of technology chosen, the type of consensus that can be configured are:

  • Ethash (Proof of work)
  • Clique (Proof of authority)
  • IBFT 2.0 (Proof of authority). Depending on the case, you can configure all the options manually in advanced options
