What is an environment?

An environment organizes components to establish their various stages of creation:

  • Developing(DA)

  • Testing(QA)

  • Deploying(PROD).

Pre-production testing permits for many separate network environments testing to be done before moving to the actual operational state.

In other words, creating environments allows you to build and evaluate networks in diverse settings before placing them in a productive state.
