Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone else here feels like Kolkata’s commercial scene is finally picking up some pace. Over the last year or two, I’ve noticed a bunch of new office buildings and tech parks coming up, especially around Salt Lake Sector V and New Town.

Compared to how things used to be a few years back, the infrastructure seems better, new coworking spaces are opening up, and companies are considering setting up operations here again.

But I’m curious for those of you working out of Salt Lake, New Town, or even central Kolkata:

• How do you feel about the office space scene lately?

• Are the new buildings and tech parks worth it?

• How’s the daily commute holding up these days?

Also, for anyone like me who occasionally works out of shared spaces, I recently came across a few good coworking spaces in Kolkata Salt Lake City options, and was surprised by how decent they’ve become. Sharing experiences and recommendations would be great if you have any.

Would love to hear how others are experiencing this. Is this just a phase or is Kolkata genuinely becoming a better place to work from now?
