Meaning of "Destinations"

A "Destination" will be used for linking features to a specific position on your network.

Purpose of Servers as a destination type

"There are already GlobalWarps, so why should I use this destination type?" - By using GlobalWarps you always will be teleported to the specific position where your GlobalWarp is. Instead of bringing you to the set position the server destination only let you switch the server. So if you don't use any spawn plugins, you will be teleported to your last known position.

Usage

If you create warp icons in your WarpGUI or set up WarpSigns you will get a page in your editor called "Destination". There you will be able to choose a server and see its status (Online/Offline). Using the server destination you can add simple and beautiful server switches. With keep-position you can also switch the server and spawn at the same position, perfect for multiple servers with the same world!

Server placeholders

Using the Server or GlobalWarp destination provides certain server information placeholders. All placeholders can be used for linked features like WarpSigns or portals wherever you can customize text.

  • .p. - Current amount of players
  • .mp. - Max amount of players
  • .ci. - Count info, defined in Config.yml
  • .m. - Message of the day
  • .s. - Status: Whether the server is online or offline, defined in Config.yml
