First installation

  1. Download Raspberry Pi Imager

  1. Install OS as you wish, but remember your host name for SSH and ping connection:

Also remember user name you are using!

Register Raspberry on your Wifi

  1. Create hostname (remember it)
  1. Add wifi

USB-C SSH for new Raspberry PI 5 - This was working a little bit strange

  1. to boot partition add:

bootfs/config.txt

//end of the line
dtoverlay=dwc2

bootfs/cmdline.txt

//end of the line
modules-load=dwc2,g_ether

  1. create empty ssh file (no extension) boot/ssh

  2. You should see your berry as an gadget

  1. Ping the device
ping 169.254.183.59

Than you can try to connect with SSH

ssh [email protected]
