How to manage roles - ericferon/glpi-archimap GitHub Wiki

2 roles are defined in Archimap :

  1. Admin user
  2. Normal user

The user's role is determined by its current profile in GLPI.

Admin user

Any GLPI profile containing "admin" (whatever the case), like "super-admin", gives the "Admin" role in Archimap. In addition to what a normal user may do, an Admin user may create or modify one or several libraries of shapes that will be displayed automatically in the sidebar. He may link these library shapes to a class of GLPI assets. He may define the appearance of these library shapes, when they are instantiated as a cell in the diagram, as dependent on some of the cell's properties.

Normal user

A normal user may link a cell instantiated from a library shape to a GLPI asset. He will be helped by autocompletion in this task. He may also modify the diagram display, depending on the purpose : f.i adding some properties (description, state, type, supplier, ...) in the text contained in a cell.
