To download NextPVR, hit the 'Download' button at the top of thehttp://www.nextpvr.com/ home page. After downloading, simply run the .exe file to install.

If you're upgrading from an earlier version, you need to make sure you stop the NextPVR software before installing. You can keep a copy of npvr.db3 and config.xml if you're paranoid.

1. Stop the recording service using the shortcut in the Start Menu.
2. Close NextPVR if running.
3. Close the NextPVR Tray icon if running (right click, Exit).
