For helpful information for development, see General KiSS Specification and FKiSS Specification. The general KiSS spec is the most basic. Once everything in the general spec is implemented, Smooch's next goal would be to implement all of FKiSS 1, 2, 3, and 4. (Specifications for FKiSS 2-4 haven't been added to the wiki yet, but feel free to do so.)
