How to Setup Gmail

In order to setup Gmail so you can send from your radiasoft.net address, you need to get a password from a sysadmin (Rob).

Once you have a password, follow these instructions.

Gmail Settings

Click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the gmail inbox view, and select Settings:

Accounts and Import

Select the Accounts and Import tab on the Settings page:

Add another email address you own

About the middle of the page, there will be a link called Add another email address you own. Click on that:

A gold popup window will show your Name already filled in. You will enter your Radiasoft email in the Email address input field:

Click on the Next Step >> button.

Send mail through your SMTP server

Another gold popup will ask you to enter some information about the SMTP server, which is mta.bivio.biz. The Username is your Radiasoft email address, and the Password will have been given to you:

Click on the Add Account >> button.

Confirmation verification and add your email address

The last gold popup will tell you Congratulations and at this point, you should just click the Close window link:

Gmail Confirmation - Send Mail as...

Go to your Gmail Inbox and a confirmation email should show up. Click on the confirmation link:

Please confirm sending mail as

A white popup will ask you to confirm that you want to send mail as your radiasoft.net address. Make sure you click on the Confirm button:

Confirmation Success!

Finally you are done. You can now send mail with your radiasoft.net address:

In order to send a message with your radiasoft.net address, you need to select the From: in Gmail's compose window as follows:
