Project Proposal: Good Quality Practices in Open Source [cont.]
- Text brought from gdoc to github wiki md file: https://github.com/elisa-tech/wg-systems/wiki/Software-Quality-Good-Practices-in-Open-Source-%E2%80%90-Proposal
- Presented this page today at the Eclipse Automotive Process SIG.
- Feedback on potential funding: Maybe it can be also included into an SDV related European fund.
- Automotive process SIG has a high overlap on what we want to achieve.
- Proper further discussion with Sara Gallian, Dana Vede, and Ansgar Lindwedel.
- Brought into Agenda of Automotive Process SIG for meeting today where Dana was involved.
- Make this a priority next step in case we want to get this being funded.
- Add Leonardo Rossetti and Martin Schleicher to the mail.
- Second mail to Gabriele Columbro and Kate Stewart to have this also initiated via LF Europe
- Where whole things can lead to: https://github.com/elisa-tech/wg-systems/pull/16/files
- Process rendering within Eclipse SDV Automotive Process SIG
- We need to discuss with Automotive Process SIG on what ELISA did originally in 2019 and what did not work, to avoid Eclipse SDV SIG will end up in same issue.
- Discuss this with Leonardo Rossetti and Martin Schleicher as SIG leads along with Dana as technical lead within Eclipse.
- Remaining from last meeting: Involvement of DIN can also be interesting. Sebastian will take a first contact.
Update of meta-elisa due to failing CI image check
- Philipp had a discussion with eByteLogic (embedded company) who consider to contribute workforce to ELISA project activities
- Bring strong yocto background.
ELISA WS at NASA (Washington DC area)
- Scheduled Dec 10 to 12th.
- There seem to be election follow-ups on this, so Washington is expensive at that time.
- We need to clarify, if the community can come to Washington.
AoB
- Meeting October 7th skipped. Meeting next week (September 30th) as normal.
