Topics & Notes:
Check past action items
- AI-Sebastian: Involvement of DIN can also be interesting.
- Discussion re-initialized and continues. DIN responded to survey.
- AI-Philipp: Get the corrected picture and the content of the press release into the systems WG repo.
- AI-Philipp: Check with OFE (Astor), and eventually LFE (Mirko) and Eclipse Foundation (Sara) about EU contacts.
Next steps on survey
- Status:
- 46 responses
- few are willing to finance (~3 companies)
- Many willing to actively contribute and engage (~50%)
- Many responses also from Germany
- How to get started?
- Collect mails and create mailing list from those who want to contribute.
- Proper communication channel to be found: Discord/Matrix/Slack, vs. first opening call, vs. mailing list only
- Start potentially with a direct 1:1 mail.
- Reach out to those willing to finance the topic explicitly
- Timing?
- After public holidays in Germany. Week June 16th to 20th for a first meeting and another maybe first week of July
- Setup a poll to find one or two meeting slots.
- Topics for a first meeting:
- Financing
- Going for funded project?
- Funding opportunities known by people joining meeting.
- Just volunteers? -> How much time is available
- Way of working
- How are we going to work on the open standard? What will be the working model?
- Project lead for coordination and planning?
- Packages based on skills and availability?
- People writing and people responding?
- Draft work packages and organization/structure of the same
- Financing
- Operations:
- Funding incl. public funded project? -> This requires coordination and a pushing person (owner).
- Start working or create a proposal (which also causes efforts)
- Cross-check: Based on responses, can we get it under umbrella of HAL4SDV or Shift2SDV? --> Requires overlap of response.
- Topic for next Systems WG meeting: Create an agenda for a first meeting.
