Recap last 3 weeks during Philipp's absence
- From AGL AMM:
- Toyota could be a good supporter for the Open Source Process
- Fits to the OSPO WG in AGL --> Follow up with Systems WG and AGL (Walt)
- Nissan needs a better onboarding from ELISA to participate
- Honda is a good candidate to take use cases forward.
- JOEMs ask for a better time slot for meetings ;)
- Toyota could be a good supporter for the Open Source Process

Project Proposal: Good Quality Practices in Open Source
- Draft
- Topic could fit into "The EU Horizon Europe Research Cluster 3" to get funding. This would be more outside ELISA
- Writing such a proposal is a lot of work and requires enough traction.
- Deadline for applicants to submit a proposal 20 November 2024
- We need to do the work on larger scale. The framework for this is needed.
- LF project or under a foundation, project
- Public funded project by EU Horizon (many companies have experience with it)
- Who can be the leading party?
- Red Hat started to look for parties in industry and academia
- Take it like the ISO/PAS 8926
- ELISA scope: Come to a proposal to collect interested parties.
- the new proposal is having the style of a research project, which can be used for attracting parties.
- Horizon delivers an environment in which we can operate in, but we are not limited to it. Keeping the style of the proposal makes it more generic and re-usable.
- Conclusion from today: Bring the "objective of proposal" forward so that it can form a base for "whatever kind of funding/financing".
