Working Notes

Not much to say about this week. The lab was rather straightforward, with the only one hiccup: I got the AD DS server VM confused with my Workstation VM, and almost attempted to force update the AD DS Computer policies on the wrong one, but I caught it right after logging out to switch to an admin account, so it was a non-issue.

Preparing for the upcoming assessment

For the upcoming assessment, the virtual environment I've been working on will be wiped, and I'll be given a new virtual environment to set up from scratch, in a similar manner to the current one.

• I will review my notes extensively, and pay particularly close attention to whatever tripped me up last time.

• I will be sure not to stay up late rereading my favorite webcomics on my phone, as I do almost every night, on the night before the assessment, as the sleep deprivation that causes led to several easily avoided mistakes. (See my Week 2 Working Notes)

• I will review all previous lab instructions, to see if there is anything important to know that did not make it into my working notes. (Things specific to the classroom vSphere setup were mostly left out, so that's one thing to keep in mind).
