Logging into Dragonrealms or Gemstone with Lich for the first time - elanthia-online/lich-5 GitHub Wiki

Having gone through all other steps to install, or upgrade Lich. We should log in to our game of choice with Wrayth one time to get our installation all active. We need to download maps, latest versions of scripts, etc... Whilst this can be done with other clients, it is only really tested with Wrayth, which is what I'll detail below.

We log in to our game of choice with the Lich Launcher. Head to your Lich5 install folder, and double click the lich.rbw file.

Note: Some people find it helpful to make a shortcut to the lich.rbw file and put it on the desktop for ease of use. Right-click lich.rbw. Create Shortcut. Right-click the shortcut. Cut. Head to the Desktop. Paste.

This window should pop up:

Fill in your account name, password, and if you plan on doing this again, I recommend saving that information for easy login next time... Then click Connect.

The Lich Launcher will then connect to Simutronics, and give you back a list of characters on your account, as in the screenshot below. Select your character from the list, and click Play.

At this point, Wrayth should launch, and you will be logged into your game of choice with Lich enabled.
