Chat

  • Use common sense, it's actually not that hard.
  • No racism or hate-speech etc.
  • No NSFW Pictures, links or anything relatable to it.
  • Do not use any slurs that are a bannable offense according to Twitch's TOS. (Not even any "soft" versions of them. This is bannable also on Plug.DJ)
  • Keep all religious/political views to yourself.
  • Do not spam the vote button as this clutters some RCS users' chat.
  • Do not advertise yourself in the chat (Discord servers, twitter, insta etc). Continuous self-promotion might result in a ban. Playing your own song or a song you are part of is fine.
  • Do not spam.
  • Be respectful/civil to others. Take arguments to DMs, not the plug.dj chat.
  • Everyone has their own taste in music. You can express your opinion, but try not to do this in a hateful way.
  • Don't ask for mods/DJs to skip. If you don't like the song you can press meh. Additionally, you can type /automute add, which will automatically mute the song the next time it plays as long as you have RCS installed.
  • Avoid unnecessarily tagging users.

Songs

  • Usually all genres are allowed, but please respect the following.
  • Be careful when you get into the queue while being AFK, if xqc joins and you play a song he doesn't like (weeb songs for example) you run the risk of getting perma-banned.
  • No racism, hate-speech or anything else that is against Twitch's TOS.
  • !check / !secretcheck Your song to make sure if it is available for most people (at least 180 countries) off-stream.
  • Make sure you don't play the same Song twice in a row regardless of time passed.
  • No Earrape.
  • No overly bassboosted music, Very high decibel hardstyle or other electronic stuff that doesn't really qualify as music (judgement at discretion of mods, feel free to ask whether your song is allowed)
  • No troll songs.
  • Nothing NSFW which would bring trouble if shown on stream.
  • JoJo songs will likely get skipped on-stream and there is a risk of being temp-banned.
  • Time limit is around 6 minutes on stream. Absolute limit is 9:59 minutes(Bot will auto-skip at 10:00). However, if your song is longer than 6 minutes, the staff might skip your song.
  • Do not queue "The Killers - Enterlude and Exitlude", "Station Earth - Cold Green Eyes" or "San Holo - Light" as they are reserved for the stream ending. These will get automatically skipped.

Song History

  • The history-skip limit (usually around 400-700 songs) is set by mods and can vary. If your song is within that limit you will get skipped.
  • Getting skipped for this reason will grant you a refund and you will move back to #5. However if you try to play your song twice in a row you will get skipped without refund.
  • With !check and !secretcheck you can check when your song was played last time. Make sure that the link doesn't have a timestamp or that it's not a playlist link. Otherwise it won't work.
  • Do not play songs that are in the DJ History on-stream, after xQc has been live for 3 hours. Otherwise you'll be automatically skipped.

Streamer Mode

Feel free to tag any of the Staff members if you have any questions or want to know if your song is allowed. Enjoy your stay!

Important Information

AFK Rules

If you want to play a song, you are required to show that you're active at least once in 3 hours by typing anything in chat. If you join the queue at 50 there will be no problem even if you do nothing until position 1.

This rule exists because people may forget their client was running and keep automatically joining the queue, which makes it unfair to people who are actually active.

Disconnecting and Losing your Spot

If you accidentally disconnect from the room and lose your spot, you can use the !dc command and the bot will try and add you back.

  • If you leave the queue, you will lose your spot permanently. This does not include disconnecting, which is a whole different thing.

What is DJ History?

  • DJ History is a list of last played songs.

  • Do not play songs that are in the DJ History.

  • Even if a song is not in the History, try not to overplay.

  • By Installing the RCS Extension, you will be notified when your song is in the DJ History and you can avoid getting skipped.

  • The History-skip is adjustable by mods. It is usually either 665 or 420 songs. Feel free to ask.  

How can I DJ?

Here is a short tutorial.

  • Only songs from YouTube are allowed when Streamer Mode is enabled.

  • You can activate your playlist by pressing the disk button next to the playlist name.

  • Keep in mind that the waitlist is capped at 50, so getting in the waitlist can be tricky if it's full. Just keep clicking the button until you get in.

RCS Emotes

  • With the RCS Extension, you get

    • RCS Emotes

  • You can type emotes using :colons:.

  • Sometimes users might experience lag when typing colons. This can be fixed by enabling Advanced Settings (all the way down in the RCS settings), and then disabling "Chat Suggestions" in the styling category of the RCS extension's settings.

  • A very few of the emotes might be scuffed (meaning that they don't work or are the wrong emote). You can report a scuffed emote to ΰΉ–Ϋ£Ϋ£ΫœΫœΞΆα‹Θ·Οƒπ“γƒ„ simply by @:ing him (aka. me :) ).

  • "How do I @ your name? LULW"

  • Right Click :)
