Setting up vSphere

Getting on Champlain network (Only needed off campus)

• https://viewportal.champlain.edu
• Choose VMware Horizon HTML Access
• Login
• Choose Remote Student VDI

Accessing vSphere

• https://vcenter02.cyber.local
• You may get a warning that the website is note secure
  • Continue to the website
• Launch vSphere Client (HTML5)
• login with first.last@cyber

Making snapshots

• Make sure the selected server is powered off
• Go to snapshots tab
• Click take snapshot
• Each server can only have one snapshot at a time
