The spit is an early-game alternative to the [pan]], for use with the [[campfire]]. When put in the leftmost slot of the campfire's GUI, it allows the campfire to turn raw meat into cooked meat, rather than [[charred meat]]. The spit is very cheap, crafted from two [roasting sticks. However, it only has four uses before breaking.
