Differences 1.12 to 1.18 - eerussianguy/firmalife GitHub Wiki

This is a non-exhaustive list of things that are changed from the 1.12 version to the 1.18 version of firmalife.

• Field guide support! You should use the in-game field guide over the wiki.
• Nuts are currently not implemented
• Ovens now have a 'top' and 'bottom' oven, where the bottom oven is a generic heat source for the top oven.
• Ovens can carry out regular heating recipes as well as 'oven' recipes.
• Ovens now don't need a chimney, but start fires if they lack one!
• Cheesecloth is no longer a fluid container, it is used as part of a barrel recipe for cheese.
• Added cellars, which work a lot like greenhouses! They are required for cheese aging.
• Added an upgraded drying mat
• Dried fruit are no longer separate items (yay compatibility!)
• Greenhouse walls are now full blocks.
• Greenhouses can be any enclosed shape.
• Greenhouses are upgraded by building with a different material, rather than upgrading the climate station.
• Added bee breeding / genetics.
• Beehives have a GUI used to help manage bees. Wax is also obtained differently.
• Added jars
• Added stainless steel
• Added the iron composter for faster compost
• Added seed balls for obtaining herbs
• Added fig trees, nightshade bushes
• Added the mixing bowl for certain recipes
• Added more baking, including pizza and pies
