Data Modeling and Binary Data

The official Node.js docs states in part that:

Buffer is a mechanism for reading or manipulating streams of binary data.

Now some people may look at this and have some difficulty understanding parts of it especially when you look into binary data and how things represent other things in computer storage.

I find puzzles very enjoyable so when I look at this subject it reminds me of some type of child toy in cracker jacks or boy’s life where you have to decipher the spy code, or cryptoquip in a newspaper.

I have heard some horror stories about this topic and the coming lab, but I’m excited for it and am looking forward to the challenge. I just hope it is actually challenging and not too simple because of the majority of students that will have a hard time grasping it.
