# RTP Layer (Audio/Media) Troubleshooting

## Symptoms
- No audio
- One-way audio
- Choppy or robotic sound

## Checklist
- Open RTP ports (UDP 10000–20000)
- External IP and Local Networks set:
  - FreePBX → Asterisk SIP Settings
- Enable symmetric RTP if needed
- Ensure both ends support same codec
