This page is used to configure an add on card in a physical system. Most of our systems that have this card will have the T1 version. A T1 is a 1.5mb data circuit that has individual channels portioned off to individual trunks. Typically the T1 is configured as a PRI (Primary Rate Interface) card. This card will have a single data signalling channel and 23 trunk channels. There are other cards that will provide FXO/FXS facilities. FXO would connect to a Old style copper trunk and FXS woud connect to an analog telephone.

This is the typical setup. The signalling could be Pri-CPE or PRI-NEt The -CPE version is for the system to provide a clock sync and the _Net relies on the trunk provider to provide the clock sync. The clock sync is extremely important to the proper operation of the trunk(s).
