The backup and restore page is just that. You can setup backup jobs that will save to the system and to other services. Most of our Cloud based systems are setup to save the backup file to our S3 file system. You can also restore the system from a backup from this page, be careful doing a restore on the CLoud systems as you could overwrite the ip settings in the Asterisk SIP settings.

Main Page: From this page you can Edit, Run or delete Steup Backup schedules.

Backup page. You name the backup, select what you want to backup, Set the save location. Most of the Cloud systems will save to a local directory. A Cron job will run a script to move the backup file to a S3 server that CQ Simple Maintains.

Restore Page: From here yu can upload a backup file or select one from the local directory and apply it. Make sure you want to do this, because there is no going back.
