Announcements are recordings (make in the system recordings section) that you can create and assign to be played at various areas within the system. After being played they have a destination to send the caller

The recording used for Announcements are from the System Recordings in the Admin Tab. A recording must be there before it is available here. The destination after playback can be just about anywhere in the system.
