Ingredients
- 1 taro. This was 2 lb.
- Salt, water.
Steps
- Begin by removing the skin with a knife.
- Cut into 1 cm chunks.
- Soak in water to prevent oxidation.
- Boil 2L of water with 2 tsp of salt. Preheat oven to 450.
- Boil taro cubes for 10 minutes, or until fork tender. Don't cover, or it may boil over!
- On a greased cast iron / baking sheet, spread taro into one layer... and bake for 10 minutes.
- Flip them all over and bake another 10.
- Enjoy with soy sauce / oyster sauce / dipped in straight sugar!
