Makes 680g of salmon
Ingredients
- 680 g = 3-5 fillets of salmon, skin on/off optional
- 70g = 1/4 cup miso (red or white, doesn't matter)
- 78g = 1/3 cup sake
- 15g = 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 28g = 2 Tbsp oil
- 50g = 1/4 cup sugar
- Garnish with chopped scallion and/or sesame seeds
Steps
- Combine ingredients to make marinade.
- Marinate, defrosted in refrigerator, for 8-24 hours
- Put on cast iron or other broiler-safe vessel
- Preheat broiler; cook for 5-7 minutes (skin-side-down) until lightly browned on top
- Serve with garnish
