Enough for 1 lb of meat

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c soy sauce
  • 2 T cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
  • 2 T Chinese cooking wine
  • 1 t sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 T honey

Steps

  1. Combine ingredients, except honey.

  2. Marinate for a couple hours (or even a day or two!) in the fridge, ensuring meat is submerged.

  3. Cook meat accordingly.

  4. Mix honey into leftover marinade.

  5. When the meat has ~5 minutes left, dunk into honey'ed marinade, then cook another 5 minutes, careful not to burn it.
