EGit

Java version required

EGit 7.0 requires Java 17 at run-time. Eclipse Platform has been requiring Java 17 at run-time since Eclipse 2023-06.

X.509 signatures

EGit 7.0 supports X.509 signatures on commits and tags if an external GPG is used. (This can be configured in the preferences at "Version Control (Team)→Git→Committing.")
