Download files from website:

We need to download information about the following as csv files from the BIRD website but if you have a fast internet connection you can just download all the meta data csv files at once to save you some effort of choosing these one by one:

We can find this information in the bird website meta data download page at https://bird.ecb.europa.eu/cm

Simply click Export in the top left, choose CSV as file type (not XLSX), choose the related cube, and choose export. You should not choose a specific reporting framework, just use the default 'All Metedata' option.

If you have slow/medium speed internet then you might find that larger files like ordinate_item take a longer time to start to download.

If you have a fast internet connection you might just choose 'All meta data objects' to save you some effort of choosing these one by one .

Do this for each item mentioned above, after each single file is exported save the file again as "CSV UTF-8" with the lower case file name as above, such as variable.csv..

Note the recent upgrade of the websites export functionality allows us to downloand multiple CSV's at the same time which is great, it appears that these are automatically in UTF format also, so there is no need to save again as "CSV UTF-8"

This is all the files we need.

These files should be put in the appropriate resources resources directory
