Start by setting the network prefix on the router:
Assign the ipv6 address to the right interface
Select automatic ipv6 configuration
Ping the router!
VTEL configuration, using eui-64
This next part did not work. We were supposed to assign an address to each of the routers on the VTEL network via autoconfig, but apparently that has some problems in cisco packet tracer, and I could not get it to work, so I had to assign the addresses manually. No matter what I did, there was only a link local address. Heres how the champlain router looks:
Apparently it sorta worked for the Middlebury router because this is how that address table looks:
I do not know why one worked and the other didn't but I'm just gonna leave it. A ping to the address I assigned the champlain router works:
Finally, run the rip enabling command on all interfaces:
And then you should be able to ping across hosts! Heres what the do show ipv6 route
