As soon as Korrostop4.0 is connected to power, the program will launch and the display the boot screen. During startup (also known as booting) hardware and software components will be tested. The lines for the tested components appear and close with DONE. This means that the component has been successfully tested and activated. If Failed. appears, function is not guaranteed. In this case, Korrostop4.0 will not work at all or only incorrectly. The progress bar at the bottom shows the approximate status of the test run.

The version numbers displayed are only relevant for support cases (these can be read later from the About screen). The system automatically switches to the data display. User interactions are not provided here.
