Different formats are used to enter numbers:

• Floating point number
• Integer
• Date
• Time

The keyboards are distinguished by additional keys that are displayed and a check input consistency.

Floating point number

Special features: Dot and minus key. The dot serves as decimal separator. Depending on the language, the corresponding character is displayed (dot or comma). The minus key is used to enter negative numbers. Positive numbers are entered without a minus sign.

Integer

Special features: no decimal separator. The minus key is used to enter negative numbers. Positive numbers are entered without a minus sign.

Date

Special features: Dot key. Depending on the setting, the corresponding character is displayed (dot or slash).

Time

Special features: Colon key. It serves as separator for hours, minutes and seconds.
