The bar image is used in the poll plugin, and on the forum stats page. It consists of three separate images:

barl.png: the left edge of the bar. Size: 5x12
bar.png: The main body of the bar, only needs to be 1 pixel wide as the image is stretched. Size 1x12
barr.png: The right edge of the bar. Size: 5x12

If these images are not found in your theme directory, the generic images are used from e107_plugins/poll/images/.

Note: these images replace bar.jpg and bar2.jpg, which are now considered deprecated.
