Following Was The Information Obtained Through Basic Research And Customer Interaction:

Observation And From lit.Survey Requirements
1. Based on the weight of other bots and the weight that a student can easily carry The bot's weight must not exceed 1.5 - 2 kg
2. A student can identify the movements of different animals and insects The bot is most suitable for students of age group 10-15
3. Based on the cost of competing products in the market Cost of the bot is around 3000 Rs
4. At the age of 13 the students will be able to recognize different bone mechanisms of animals The bot must include diversity in the way the bones are arranged for walking
5. Students may not handle the bot delicately Materials used must be safe and student friendly

1.1 Clients Objectives

Sr no Objectives
1. The bot must be affordable (less initial cost, low maintenance
2. The bot must be user friendly (easy to use, easy to carry)
3. The bot must not occupy a lot of space
4. The bot must have a good battery backup (easily chargeable)

1.2 Prioritize The Identified Design Objectives

Priority Among Various Objectives Is Set Through A Technique Called Pair Wise Comparison Chart (PCC)

Objectives Safety Cost Efficient User Friendly Less Space Battery Efficiency Score
Safety *** 1 0 1 1 3
Cost Efficient 0 *** 1 1 0 2
User Friendly 1 0 *** 0 1 2
Less Space 0 0 1 *** 0 1
Battery Efficiency 0 1 0 1 *** 2

Based On The Information Gathered Through Interaction With Client, Initial Survey And Completing Phase

1.1 The Problem Definition Is Formulated As Follows

Problem Definition Version 1.1

Design a bot for the students of age group 13-15 to showcase the mechanism of gaits of animals. The bot must not be very big and the cost must be affordable and reasonable. The bot must be easy for the students to operate and easy to carry and have a good battery backup.

Sr.No Identify Objectives
1. The bot must occupy less space
2. The bot must be made safe (Use of safe metal and plastic)
3. The bot must be affordable (Less initial cost, low maintenance
4. The bot must be user friendly (Easy to use, easy to carry)
5. The bot must have a good battery backup (Easily chargeable)

Problem Definition Version 1.2

Design a bot having minimum four legs, and the bot must not weigh more than 2000 grams.the cost of the bot must be within 3000 Rupees and the size must not exceed 1x1x1 foot.

Sr No. Identify Constraints
1. The bot must have a minimum of 4 legs
2. The bot must not weigh more than 2 kg
3. The bot must be cost efficient
4. The bot must be small in size

Problem Definition Version 1.3

Design a bot which is able to move at least forward and backward and is able to sense the obstacles and step back or change its direction. It must exhibit the walking mechanism of an animal.

Sr No. Identify Functions
1. The bot is able to walk
2. the bot is able to move in different directions
3. The bot can mimic the gait of an animal
4. The bot can sense obstacles and change its direction
5. The bot responds to the different commands
