Kalatheme now ships with Drush commands that mimic the subtheme generator GUI. Here are some basic commands to help you get started:

Basic commands and options

drush kalatheme "My Awesome Theme"  
drush kalatheme "My Awesome Theme" --fonts  
drush kalatheme "My Awesome Theme" --custom=yeti  
drush kalatheme "My Awesome Theme" --base-theme=kalasubtheme  

You can use any of the following values for Bootswatch themes: amelia, cerulean, cosmo, cyborg, flatly, journal, readable, simplex, slate, spacelab, united or yeti.

You can also mix and match options like this.

drush kalatheme "My Awesome Theme" --fonts --custom=amelia
